IMPORTANT NOTICE: THIS AGREEMENT IS SUBJECT TO BINDING ARBITRATION AND A WAIVER OF CLASS ACTION RIGHTS AS DETAILED IN SECTION 12 BELOW.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are entered into between you and Competition Operations LLC, referred to in these Terms as "CompOps," "we," "us," or "our." GotNext is a product brand operated by CompOps. These Terms govern your access to and use of the GotNext Bot Discord bot and its web surfaces on gotnext.gg: the server dashboard at gotnext.gg/elo-bot and the public leaderboard, match, and player pages (together, the "Service"), including any content, functionality, and features offered through the Service.
The GotNext Bot is a Discord bot that provides ELO-based competitive matchmaking, ranked queues, and leaderboards for Discord servers. Server administrators manage their queues, players, and settings from the dashboard at gotnext.gg/elo-bot. The bot is operated as part of the GotNext.gg platform: your GotNext.gg account is also governed by the GotNext.gg Terms of Service, which apply alongside this document.
By using the GotNext Bot or its web surfaces, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
You must be at least thirteen (13) years old to use the Service, consistent with Discord's minimum age requirement. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.
We reserve the right to request proof of age and to terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements.
The GotNext Bot provides the following capabilities:
Server administrators can sign in at gotnext.gg/elo-bot to manage their server's queues, view and edit player stats, configure ELO tiers, manage permissions, manage their subscription, and view seasons. Signing in with Discord creates a GotNext.gg account automatically if you don't already have one. Dashboard access follows verified Discord ownership and explicitly delegated server roles.
Each server gets public leaderboard, recent-match, and player pages that anyone can view without signing in (for example gotnext.gg/leaderboard/<guild-id>). These display player rankings, ELO ratings, and match statistics.
Core GotNext Bot features are available free of charge. We also offer optional paid subscription tiers that unlock additional features and higher usage limits for a server. Current tiers, pricing, and feature lists are published on the dashboard and may change as described below.
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). By subscribing, you authorize CompOps and Stripe to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis for the billing period you choose. Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy govern your use of Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details; those are held by Stripe.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the dashboard's billing page (via the Stripe billing portal); your subscription remains active through the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, subscription charges are final and non-refundable, including for partial billing periods.
If a subscription that a server's continued bot access depends on lapses or is cancelled, premium features stop at the end of the paid period. We may notify the server owner: including by direct message, and may remove the bot from the server after a notice period. Server data is retained as described in our Privacy Policy, so re-subscribing or re-inviting the bot restores prior data.
We may change subscription pricing with advance notice. Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing period; continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these Terms or engage in conduct we deem harmful to the community. Server administrators may also ban players from their server's queues using the bot's ban commands.
Discord server administrators who invite the GotNext Bot to their server agree to:
Server administrators can delegate permissions to specific Discord roles via the dashboard or bot commands. Administrators are responsible for managing who has access to admin commands in their server.
When invited to a Discord server, the GotNext Bot requests the following permissions:
The bot only operates in servers where it has been explicitly invited by a server administrator. You can remove the bot from your server at any time through Discord's server settings.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GOTNEXT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Core GotNext Bot features are provided free of charge, with optional paid tiers described in Section 3. We make reasonable efforts to maintain uptime and data integrity, but provide no guarantees.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GOTNEXT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CompOps and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Server administrators may remove the bot from their server at any time.
To request deletion of your data, contact us at [email protected]. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that accrued prior to termination. Sections 7, 8, 9, and 12 survive termination.
The bot sends messages in Discord channels where it has been configured to operate, including temporary match channels it creates. The bot may also send direct messages for service purposes: for example, match notifications you have opted into, or notices to server owners about subscription status before the bot leaves a server. The bot does not send marketing or promotional direct messages.
READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT MAY SIGNIFICANTLY AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT.
These provisions apply to you if you are domiciled in and/or use the Service in the United States or Canada.
Most concerns are quickly resolved through informal communication. The parties shall use their best efforts to settle any dispute through consultation and good faith negotiations, which shall be a precondition to either party initiating a lawsuit or arbitration.
If the parties do not reach an agreed-upon solution within thirty (30) days from the time informal dispute resolution is pursued, then either party may initiate binding arbitration as the sole means to formally resolve claims. All claims shall be finally settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Consumer Arbitration Rules.
THE PARTIES AGREE THAT ANY ARBITRATION SHALL BE CONDUCTED IN THEIR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITIES ONLY AND NOT AS A CLASS ACTION OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. The parties expressly waive their right to file a class action or seek relief on a class basis.
Either party may bring an action in small claims court for disputes within that court's jurisdiction.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on the Service and update the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Discord Bot Privacy Policy and, for your GotNext.gg account, the GotNext.gg Terms of Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and CompOps regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
