Overview

Install GotNext and run ranked queues, tournaments, and ladders with Discord at the center.

GotNext is a Discord bot for running competitions. Organizers configure ranked queues, tournaments, ladders, XP, and achievements from the web. Competitors can complete many routine actions in Discord.

Quick start

  1. 1

    Start the installation

Visit the GotNext bot page, sign in, and choose Add to Discord.

  2. 2

    Connect your Discord server

Select a server where you have Manage Server, then authorize the GotNext bot.

  3. 3

    Confirm the organization

Every server belongs to an organization. GotNext creates or reuses one automatically. If you manage more than one eligible organization, choose which organization should own the server.

  4. 4

    Create a queue

Open the server in your organization's Ranked Queues workspace. Choose the game, team size, match mode, and Discord channel, then create the queue.

  5. 5

    Players register and join

Players run /register then /join. Matches start automatically when the queue fills.

Prefer to stay in Discord? Run /setup in the channel where the queue should live. The web setup and slash command create the same type of queue.

Every connected Discord server belongs to an organization. This keeps staff access, Discord settings, billing, competitions, XP, and achievements in one workspace.

New installs include a 20-match Premium trial with no time limit and no automatic charge.

Competition actions in Discord

Players use the standard queue commands for matchmaking. They can also run /gotnext to view the organization's tournaments and ladders, join eligible solo competitions, check in, find matches, report supported results, and view organization XP, level, and achievements.

Team registration and roster changes remain on the web. See the command reference for the complete list.
